Kickoff for 2023-2024 season
If you missed our August meeting, here’s a quick recap that features our new board installation.
Declutter your mind
This months Ice Breaker was: In your opinion, what are two things that make a good leader. Our Meal Sponsor this month was Ashly Wynkoop with the Indiana Family Care Center. The featured presenter this month was Tracy McMenimen.
8 years in the making
This months ice breaker question was "What is your favorite Summer Activity?" Some Responses were:
Fit Plain & Simple
November’s featured speaker was Lauren Caggiano who gave us some great ideas on how to incorporate fitness into our daily lives. Lauren offered stretching tips, easy strength exercises and movements anyone with any skill level could begin doing. She even had the group get up on their feet and do a few.
An introduction to self-defense
October’s featured speaker was unable to join us…so a huge thanks to Jeff Basche and team from Basche's Martial Arts for giving us an interactive self defense program and extended guest passes for ABWA and families.
Vision Boards
Our July meeting featured Ashlyn Kippert who spoke on how to craft a vision board and why vision boards are so important to helping us reach our goals. She suggested that our vision boards not just be for work, but all major areas of life.
Speed networking fun
Our June meeting featured a fun speed networking activity where those who attended got to take time to network with others. Separated by different candy bars, those that had the same candy bar got to meet up and get to know each other more.
Buckets & buckets of lists
At our June meeting, those in attendance were asked to share an item on their bucket list. After attending another event where the speaker shared his bucket list ideals, President Dianne Rybicki was inspired to ask June meeting attendees to share theirs. Here are a few of the responses:
Flowers & Blooms
Everything was flowers and spring blooms at our recent flower arranging event held In April at Ruby Moon Flower Farm.
CTFAR with Jamie Nau
Our May meeting featured our very own Jamie Nau of Grow Nau Consulting who shared some great tips to better our personal results based off of our thoughts, feelings and actions.
Social Media Misshaps

Sarah Arnold, owner of Socially Seasoned (pictured right); Britney Breidenstein, from UpLinked (pictured center); and Christie Browning, owner of Content By Request (pictured left) offered tips and how-tos to make the most of social media to grow and market businesses.
Follow your passion
The March meeting featured Emily Lahr, Director of Events and Donor Engagement at The Rescue Mission (pictured right) who spoke about following your passion and how to incorporate that into volunteering. Emily shared about an upcoming event being held for The Rescue Mission. The Spring Gala is slated for May 6.
Get to know the Board
January's meeting featured a roundtable discussion from the current Board Members who were able to share details about their positions and what tasks they oversee.
