CTFAR with Jamie Nau

Our May meeting featured our very own Jamie Nau of Grow Nau Consulting who shared some great tips to better our personal results based off of our thoughts, feelings and actions. Jamie taught us about the thousands of thoughts we have each day and how these thoughts, without direction, can lead us down a slippery path. But when we learn to catch those thoughts, recognize our feelings and take the right action, we can produce a better result. She taught the group this formula: C- Circumstances; T- Thoughts; F - Feelings; A- Actions; R- Results.

Thanks to our meal sponsor, Dianne Rybicki with PNC Bank. Did you know that PNC offers financial education for those that need it. This is great for employers who want to bring financial support to their employees.

Welcome to our newly inducted member... Amy Torrez with Paul's Place for Families. Amy is just one of four new members we've recently welcomed. She was present at our May meeting to be officially installed as a member in our league.

Be sure to take time to introduce yourself to Amy and get to know her and her nonprofit. And we look forward to installing our other new members in upcoming meetings.

How do we build our chapter? By inviting guests to our meetings and events. Be sure to invite a guest to our June meeting that features a speed networking event in place of a speaker. It is sure to be a lot of fun and a great way to meet some new people!

May's meeting held room for our members to vote for the league's 2022-2023 Board. This election is held in May with new Board Members taking office in August. The results of this election were: President - Michelle Crone; President Elect - Shirley New; VP of Finance - Malorie Gasper; VP of Marketing - Leigh Roberson; VP of Communications - Jaime Wilsey-Heckman; VP of Membership - Christina Adkison ; VP of Programming - Valerie Lloyd.
