2023-2024 League dues need to be paid by August 1st. You should have received an invoice. This can be paid via cash, check, Venmo or Eventbrite. Any questions reach out to Cheryl Schmandt.
Scholarship Update – Cheryl
Chloe Hogue is our Impact Scholarship recipient and received $2,000 today to help continue her education in nursing at Indiana Wesleyan University. She was also installed as a new member of Women for the next year. We had 12 applicants, 6 completed the process. Forwarded 2 of those applicants to the Rain Tree Chapter.

Cheryl’s Campaign – Leigh
This weekend we will being going to Ann Arbor Michigan for the DVP Luncheon. There will be a cork pull, looking for donations still of bottles of wine. Also still looking for gift cards to add to the envelope pull. Be a national gift card valued at $10. If you can attend the Cardinal Crossroads meeting on July 22nd in New Castle. Cheryl will be speaking on Leadership. We carpool so if you would like to attend, please reach out to me. Summer Sizzler will be in Anderson Indiana on August 26th, and we would love to have you.
August Meeting - Leigh
League year is 8/1 – 7/31 Leigh will be the incoming President for 2023-2024 Anyone can get involved in our group, join a committee. We have an open door policy.
Misc:
Angie Rose and Stacy Reed has stepped up to be on the audit committee and they will audit the financial books that Malorie has been keeping for us.
Rain Tree has three merchandise booths at the Indianapolis 500 each year. Don’t always have enough people to work the booths so invited Women of Magnitude and Indiana Family Care Center to work the other booths.
Presented Women of Magnitude with a check for $2,756.11 which are the proceeds from the booth.
